Just spotted on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.ie/93-MAZDA-MX5-HARDTOP ... 19b72cac58

Car is in Ireland and starting price is €300 and on the same opening page: Baby carseat.

Hmmmmmmmm the VRT price he gives to clear is inaccurate - The minimal amount of VRT to be paid is approx €800 from what I believe.

Thats interesting, Cos when I vrt'd my car, the VRT guy said the minimum amount to pay is €800 on any import, mind you thats over a year and a half ago...

cars @ €475 now.

I think there was a time then they changed the system to a CO2 basis, that the minimum valuation on the system went from €316 to 36% of €2000 (€2000 being the minimum OMSP value of a car on the system). This may have changed since.
