We announced on the Episode 9 podcast that we will be running a feature on the “Top 5  Première Episodes 2011”, and we invited our listeners to send a mail to podcast@isitabicycle.com with your opinions on what show kicked off with the biggest bang this year.

We already have a lot of replies, so for anyone who hasn’t already sent your thoughts in – we will have to close the poll at 7pm GMT tomorrow Wednesday the 19th of October, to collect all the feedback in time for recording

Podcast Episode 9

A lot of TV talk this week covering such disparate topics as Secret Circle al the way to the gritty testosterone and sweat fuelled reality tv show – The Ultimate Fighter. Mike has a startling return to form and sows the seeds for a new podcast “Is it an Oireachtas”. Our Blu-Ray review of Thor leads to some Avengers talk and we delve deeply into the dark reaches of the French prison system with “A Prophet”. Also our first listener email event kicks off – don’t miss it!

Podcast Episode 8

Its silly season on our TVs as Season Premiere after Premiere hit one after another. Mike, Mark and Steve struggle to keep up with all the TV that needs to be watched, though this bleeds into other areas of their lives as Mike’s “Did you know?” woes continue this week. We provide the greatest synopsis of Fringe ever, and Mark explains why people should like it. A review of Drive and a bunch more TV in jam packed episode!

After a week away from the podcast booth, our intrepid heroes have watched a lot of film, and they want to talk about it, damnit! Our reviews of the Guard, Colombiana and Attack the Block finally get some air time and we perform cost benefit analysis of additional copies of Sarah Michelle Gellar. A shocking twist in “Did you know? with Mike” shakes the podcast to it’s core, Mark reveals his potential-o-meter plus just when you think its all over, Conan sparks a discussion in this seriously packed episode!
