So its Summer time here in Ireland, but you wouldn’t know that without looking at a calendar; We are getting rain, hail and all kinds of precipitational pestillence; so to pull us out of the doldrums we decided to review a movie about someone else enjoying their Summer! Mel Gibson’s latest movie “My Summer Vacation” seemed to fit the bill, but it didn’t. Unabashed we thought – its because Mel is american, we need someone Irish to empathise with; so we reviewed Shame starring Michael Fassbender, not an empathy generating film though, not at all! Only one thing three red blooded males can do after all this disappointment “Girls!” the TV show, nothing sordid (though we were kind of hoping). That show didn’t fill us with sunshine either unfortunately so we delved into “Hart of Dixie”, which has sun AND girls! Our spirits restored we scoffed at the tempest outside our windows and recorded this podcast so you could hear what we have to say about all of these fine movies and TV shows!
