IIAB Season 12 Episode 20 Midnight Texas, Ozark

This week, we take a look at new Netflix offering -Ozark- and debate whether Jason Bateman can pull off a serious face, and how credible his boredom is given all the drug-related shenanigans going on around him. In Midnight Texas, the crew bet Mark would be disappointed by all the lack-lustre vampires who are scraping a 7 and keep busy not being sexy. Doing overtime this week Mike also explains Dunkirk to those of us who know nothing about history or One Direction.

Season 9 Episode 07 The Gift, Blunt Talk, Fear of the Walking Dead, Star Trek: Renegades

The Dead return in Fear The Walking Dead, a supposed prequel to The Walking Dead, that turns out to be a paralleloquel thanks to advanced timeline analysis by Mark, former friend and fellow podcaster, who, it turns out, harbours Hannibal-like feelings about Mike in particular. Who knew? Patrick Stewart engages us with his take on Brit-talkshow-host-in-America that never got over the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Falklands, in Blunt Talk. This busy schedule precluded him from joining almost every other former Star Trek cast member in Star Trek Renegades, a crowd funded fan film that cost less than Kanye West’s monthly fishsticks bill, but tasted better. We wrap up with Jason Bateman showing what happens when you feed him after midnight in The Gift, a high school reunion in the suburbs gone wrong.

Season 7 Episode 19 – Fury, This is where I leave you, Constantine and The Affair

It’s the tank we’ve all been waiting for this week as Brad gives the Nazis a bloody nose in Fury. Jason Bateman is Jason Bateman in This Is Where I Leave You, a heart warming tale of family breast augmentation. In TV, Dominic West tries to get his story straight in The Affair and the supernatural-but-not-too-scary genre has a new contender in Constantine.

Season 6 Episode 19

posterS06E19The long awaited Penny Dreadful gets the once over and the tire-kick as TV horror makes one more attempt not to fuck it up. ITV’s Prey follows the trials and tribulations of a defective husband and a worse murder detective. Steve springs a pop-quiz on us; will Mark win despite not being there? Jesse Eisenberg pretends he can’t afford a way better suit than any of us in The Double, where pantomime “He’s Behind You!!” meets Hollywood Single White Female. For our last movie we welcome special guest Sean B on a flying visit to talk about Bad Words, where Jason Bateman shows a bunch of snot nosed kids who’s the boss. Previews section generates far more conversation than the three trailers should warrant and Mike gives the worst ever shout-out to another podcast. The Shelf Life, we apologize.
